Clara Balzary

Clara Balzary’s first camera was a second-hand Nikon, gifted to her by Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers when she was 12. Thus the Los Angelina began her career, capturing images of her cat before moving to New York to assist the Italian photographer, Mario Sorrenti. Now she’s based back in the City of Angels, Clara’s optimistic, West-Coast-fused imagery has seen her become a key contributor to fashion magazines such as W, Dazed, i-D, and US Vogue. Major fashion houses Calvin Klein, Gucci, Miu Miu, and Chloé also have Mr Kiedis to thank. Clara is represented by the agency Mini Title, via whom she can be contacted.
