Vanessa Grigoriadis
As a contributing editor to Vanity Fair, New York and Rolling Stone magazines, Vanessa Grigoriadis has established herself as the mistress of long-form journalism; the prima donna of profiles, the maestra of pop culture. Karl Lagerfeld, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and, notoriously, Gwyneth Paltrow are but a few of those subjected to Vanessa’s forensic research and enthralling analysis in her celebrated, meticulously-researched articles. A bona fide New Yorker, Vanessa grew up on the Upper West Side, studied dance with Alvin Ailey as a child and majored in English at Wesleyan University. She now lives in Red Hook, Brooklyn with her husband, the set designer Craig Maldonado, and their daughter. Along with Inez van Lamsweerde, Vanessa shares the honour of being both a subject of and contributor to The Gentlewoman. In 2017 she published her first book Blurred Lines: Rethinking Sex, Power, and Consent on Campus.
