Susie Wolff
Susie Wolff is the UK’s only Formula One female driver and in October 2014 was the first woman in 22 years to take part in a Formula One race weekend, at Silverstone, England. Hailing from Oban in Scotland, Susie began her motorsports career at she was eight years old, when she started competing in karting races. Gradually, she progressed through Formula Renault, Formula 3, DTM and onto Formula One, where she is now a development driver for the Williams racing team. Susie lives in Switzerland with her husband Toto Wolff, who works for the rival Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One team. When not zooming around the racetracks of the world, she enjoys other high-octane sports such as skiing and surfing. She does like to unwind sometimes though, with books by her favourite author Paulo Coehlo and a nice stack of ironing.
