Phoebe Philo

Phoebe Philo is arguably the most influential womenswear designer of the last 15 years. Her work, for Céline and previously for Chloé, has the astonishing ability to ripple through the entire fashion industry, impacting everywhere from high street to haute couture. Since her time as a student at Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London, where she has said all she was interested in was making a flattering trouser, Phoebe has remained true to this ultimately pragmatic ethos, designing deliriously covetable clothes and accessories. Phoebe has two children, Maya and Marlowe, and is married to gallerist and former Bruce Weber model, Max Wigram.
