Pam Hogg
The designer and fashion icon Pam Hogg studied Fine Art and Printed Textiles in her hometown of Glasgow before moving to London to attend the Royal College of Art. Her eponymous brand was launched in 1981, and her clothes were soon popular with London’s cool kids as well as musicians such as of Debbie Harry and Siouxsie Sioux. Fittingly, considering her clingy, rock ’n’ roll designs, Pam has also played in several bands – her first group, Rubbish, regularly supported the Pogues on tour. These days, she lives in Hackney, North London, where she cycles to and from her nearby studio sporting vintage tracksuits and her signature blonde quiff.
