Juergen Teller
German-born artist and photographer Juergen Teller originally trained as a bow-maker before commencing his extraordinary career as one of fashion’s preeminent and influential photographers. A graduate of Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photographie in Munich, Juergen has created ravishing sequences of imagery for brands such as Marc Jacobs, Céline and Vivienne Westwood, which are among fashion’s most revered. His work has also been exhibited at international institutions such as the ICA in London, MoMA in New York and Haus der Kunst in Munich. Juergen is married to gallerist Sadie Coles and is represented by Lehmann Maupin Gallery for his art work and CLM for his fashion.
