Heidi Julavits
A native of Portland, Maine, Heidi Julavits is an award-winning writer and editor, best known for her acclaimed novels, The Vanishers, The Uses of Enchantment and The Effect of Living Backwards, and the best-selling anthology Women in Clothes. Her work is regularly published in Harper's, The New York Times and Bookforum. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, Ben Marcus, and their two children.
