Hannah MacGibbon

The creative director Hannah MacGibbon was born and raised in Camden in north London, where as a teenager she worked on a market stall, selling fake Wham! T-shirts and spending her wages on clothes. In 1996, she graduated from Central Saint Martin’s and landed a job at the French fashion house Chloé, where she worked her way up the ranks from assistant to the right-hand woman of the artistic director, Phoebe Philo. When Phoebe departed Chloé in 2008, Hannah took the reins, staying with the company until 2011. She now works as freelance consultant for several fashion and beauty brands (whose identities remain undisclosed). When it comes to personal style, Hannah herself remains the queen of easy elegance, and is rarely spotted without a baseball cap and a pair of white Reebok classics.
