Erica Wagner
Growing up in New York, author and critic Erica Wagner’s first job was helping her mother answer fan mail for The Muppets from her family home on the Upper West Side. Erica moved to England in the 1980s, where she studied at Cambridge before becoming the literary editor for The Times, a position she held for 17 years. She lives in south London, where she lectures in creative writing at Goldsmiths and bakes sourdough bread.
