David Sims
Born in Yorkshire, England, David Sims emerged from London’s fertile creative scene of the 1990s, to establish himself as one of fashion’s leading photographers. Via his pioneering work with the stylists Melanie Ward and Anna Cockburn, through to his ongoing collaborations with figures such as Joe McKenna, Sims has been at the forefront of modernising fashion photography over the past three decades. His work for Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Prada and Yohji Yamamoto are among the industry’s most revered and recognisable and his works are in the permanent collections of Tate Modern and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
