Cynthia Breazeal

In the exciting field of social robotics (also known as “human-robot interaction”) Dr Cynthia Breazeal is a fearless pioneer. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she studied computer sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she now works as an Associate Professor of Arts and Sciences. Cynthia’s love of all things robotics stems from a childhood obsession with Star Wars: her favorite character is R2-D2.
