Alannah Weston

Since her appointment as creative director of Selfridges & Co. in 2004, when her family acquired the venerable British department store, Alannah Weston has transformed it into a cultural attraction as much as an essential shopping destination. Alannah’s creative steer has seen the store twice voted “World’s Best Department Store” and its 2012 profits exceed £1,000,000. In 2014 she was named co-chairman of Selfridges Group. Educated at Merton College, Oxford, Alannah previously worked for the Telegraph Magazine and Burberry. She is married to the architect Alexander Cochrane with whom she has two daughters, Maia and Lola.
